Our products are made exclusively from high-quality materials that not only provide comfort, but also peace of mind on every journey. For example, all our suitcases are made of the highest quality polycarbonate, the strongest plastic available. This way, our suitcase can withstand any drop or bump.

A well thought-out design

A unique product requires passion and love. With that in mind, our search for the best partners and employees began. In addition to quality, we also love design and to combine this, a Dutch design was inevitable. Before we bring the products to the market, they are extensively tested and checked, because we also want to travel without compromise.

Parts and a second life

All our products are designed in such a way that wearing parts can be easily replaced. This way you will enjoy your ONYX gear for years to come and at the same time contribute to a sustainable lifestyle.

All our returns are carefully checked and repaired where necessary by our partner. They then offer the products again for a special second chance price. With sustainability in perspective, we ensure that the maximum is obtained from our ONYX products.

The ONYX Roadmap

Unfortunately, we are not (yet) a sustainable company. We recognize that everything we do has a major impact on the planet and its people, from production to transportation and our own operations. Nevertheless, we strive to be a responsible brand with the environment and climate at the heart of everything we do. At the beginning of this year (2023), we made the decision to make all our business processes more sustainable step by step, from transportation to the smallest materials. For that reason, below you will find our company roadmap from the start to the goals in the next year.

- The launch of our webshop (previously we only sold through partners)
- Sustainable logistics foundation
- Launch of the 2 new colours Roll-top, Sand and Grey
- Development of our "sustainable" collection
- Launch of the HYBRID suitcase collection in 3 sizes and 3 colours
- Launch of the toiletry bags and packing cubes in two colours
- Launch of the Modular backpack in 3 colours
- The first Blackfriday campaign for ONYX members

Goals for 2024

- All our products will consist of at least 50% recycled materials.
Currently, our first sustainable production is already planned for our Roll-top. This will be produced and manufactured from 95% recycled materials (rPet). And for our toiletry bag, the outside of which will be made of completely PU-rPet.

- Two new colours for our complete suitcase line.

- Packaging made only from recyclable and biodegradable materials (no plastic).
