My suitcase is damaged. What now?

Damaged luggage is annoying. Here's what to do, depending on the cause:

Damage caused by the airline

1. Report the damage immediately at the airline's counter at the airport.
2. Ask for a PIR form (Property Irregularity Report) and fill it out.
3. Keep the form safe. You will need it for your claim with the airline.

Damage due to a fall or manufacturing defect
